There are thousands of varieties of plums, differing from each other in size, form, colour and taste. It's a fruit rich in vitamin C. It also contains vitamin A, calcium, cellulose and magnesium.
In Greece a few decades ago there weren't any organized exploitations of the plum cultivation. The huge demand, though, both in the Greek and in the foreign markets has led to the systematic cultivation of it.
The same situation is seen in our cooperation, too. We began with a small quantity but today, after the increased demand and the instructions of our geotechnical department, we have vastly increased the quantity in order to satisfy sufficiently the national and the international market retrospectively.
